The concept of HMS Defence Solutions was founded in 2014 with the mission to contribute to national security by developing contemporary defence concepts, enhancing tactical understanding at field level and improving operational readiness of defence establishments, military units, bases, depots and industries. Besides, we also provide similar services to other stakeholders of security sectors e.g. Paramilitary Forces/BGB, Armed Police, Ansar, BNCC etc. The organization focuses on doctrine development, formulating operating procedures, training modules, carryout operational readiness assessment/ORI and strategic advisory services on procurement of weapons, military/police hardware/equipment and technologies, aligned with the evolving nature of warfare, security challenges while remaining fully compliant with national institutional frameworks. We aim to become a nationally later globally respected strategic defence consultancy, by shaping resilient security architectures and future ready defence solutions through holistic, ethical, and intelligence driven multiplier approaches. Our approach is clearly reflected in our Motto. We explore secrets, work out of the box and carry out research on emerging issues to exploit situational advantage to create multiplier strategy that effectively supports the attainment of military or other organizational objectives with minimal resources, effort, time and budget.
There are many highly funded, well equipped establishments, units, organizations, institutes yet unable to display credible indicators to undertake the challenges of modern day warfare and security sectors. Many of these establishments lacks potential to undertake present day organizational objectives, operational challenges. The key reasons may be mentioned as; existing traditions in non R&D based decision making process, inappropriate research platform and personnel, lack of recognizing the experts on the affairs, proxy decision makers, discontinuation of existing research projects etc. There could be many more for which we experience struggles in many of these organizations. In 2026, we still have many practices and theories of 1970, that has become the invisible burden to our Armed and other Forces' effectiveness. These could be mentioned as many existing tactics, selection procedures of weapons and equipment, method of operational readiness assessment, imported military decision making process that conflicts local realities, method of military procurements, supply chain and logistics, lack of indigenous defence industry capability etc are few of the examples.
